Voyant qu'Alex & Ampata ont l'air de bien s'entendre, Willow est jalouse...

<== Willow: Boy. They really like each other.

Willow : Ben dis-donc ils s'entendent drôlement bien.

Willow voit bien qu'Alex a envie d'aller au bal avec Ampata alors elle se sacrifie et lui dit qu'elle se débrouillera toute seule...

<== Willow: You should take her to the dance.
Xander: That's a good idea ! We'll all go !
Willow: No, I mean just you.
Xander: But you were psyched ! And your costume !
Willow: I'll see you there.
Xander: You know what, Willow ? You're my best friend.
He goes over to Ampata.
Willow: I know...

Willow : Tu devrais aller avec elle à la fête.
Alex : Oui c'est une idée géniale on ira ensemble.
Willow : Non seulement tous les deux.
Alex : Mais et toi ? Et ton costume ?
Willow : On s'y verra.
Alex : Tu sais quoi Willow ? Tu es ma meilleure amie.
Il va rejoindre Ampata.
Willow : Je sais.

Quand Ampata essaye de tuer Willow, Alex arrive pour l'en empêcher et préfère se sacrifier plutôt que de voir Willow mourir... Après que Buffy ait tué Ampata, Willow tente de consoler Alex...

<== Willow comes running in as Ampata starts to leave. She grabs Willow by the neck and picks her up.
Ampata: This won't hurt !
Willow begins to choke. Ampata moves in to kiss her.
Xander: Let her go ! If you're gonna kiss anybody, it should be me.
Ampata: Xander, we can be together. Just... just let me have this one.
Xander: That's never gonna happen.
Ampata: I must do it. I must do it now ! Or it is the end for me and for us !
She tries to kiss Willow again, but Xander jumps in to stop her.
Xander: NO! (pulls Willow away from her) You want life ? You're gonna have to take mine. Can you do that ?

Willow arrive. Ampata s'apprête à la tuer.
Ampata : Tu ne sentiras rien.
Alex : Laisses-la ! Si tu as quelqu'un à embrasser, ça doit être moi.
Ampata : Alex nous pourrions nous aimer toujours ! Laisses, laisses-moi prendre cette vie.
Alex : Je ne te laisserai pas faire !
Ampata : Je dois le faire ! Comprends il le faut ! Sinon ce serait la fin pour moi et pour nous !
Alex : Non !
Alex sauve Willow.
Alex : Tu veux une vie ? Je te donne la mienne. Prends la mienne.

Pour Halloween, Buffy veut que Willow s'habille un peu sexy pour surprendre Alex mais Willow ne se sent finalement pas capable de porter son costume et s'empresse de mettre son drap de fantôme...

<== Buffy: Okay, Willow, come out. You can't hide in there all night.
Willow: O-okay, but, but promise you won't laugh ?
Buffy: I promise.
Willow opens the door and comes out wearing boots, a short, black leather skirt and a burgundy, long-sleeved, V-necked, midriff-baring top. She's uncomfortable, and quickly steps over to her ghost sheet and picks it up.
Buffy: Wow ! You're a dish !
Willow tries to hide herself with the sheet, but Buffy takes it from her and tosses it aside.
Buffy: I mean, really.
Willow is very uncomfortable and tries to cover herself with her arms.
Willow: But this just isn't me.
Buffy: And that's the point. Look, Halloween is the night that not you is you, but not you. Y'know ?
The doorbell rings.
Buffy: Oh! That's Xander. Are you ready ?
Willow: Yeah. O-o-okay.
Buffy: Cool ! I can't wait for the boys to go non-verbal when they see you !
Willow is still trying to cover herself.
Buffy comes down the stairs and opens the door for Xander. He enters saluting with his toy rifle in his hand.
Xander: Private Harris reporting for... Buffy ! Lady of Buffdom, Duchess of Buffonia, I am in awe! I completely renounce spandex !
Buffy: Thank you, kind sir. But wait till you see...
They turn to look up the stairs at Willow. She has put on the ghost sheet. It says 'BOO!' on the front in large bold letters.
Willow: Hi.
Buffy: ...Casper.
Xander: Hey, Will ! That's aaa fine boo you got there.

Buffy : Allez Willow montres-toi ! Tu vas pas passer la nuit là-dedans ?
Willow : D'accord. Mais tu promets que tu vas pas rire.
Buffy : Je te le promet.
Willow sort avec une tenue assez sexy et se cache tout de suite avec sa tenue de fantôme.
Buffy : Waow ! Tu es superbe ! Vraiment je t'assure.
Willow : Mais... c'est que je ne suis pas moi.
Buffy : Mais justement. Tu vois, Halloween, c'est fait pour ça. Etre toi ! C'est surtout ne pas être toi ! En étant toi !
On sonne.
Buffy : Ah voilà Alex ! Tu es prête ?
Willow : Oui je crois !
Buffy : J'y vais. Tu vas voir les mecs ça va leur couper le souffle !
Buffy va ouvrir.
Alex : Officier Harris, en mission pour... Buffy ! Madame de Buffy ! Duchesse de Buffonnie ! Je m'incline devant... je renonce définitivement aux mini-jupes.
Buffy : Merci doux seigneur. Mais attends de voir...
Willow descend l'escalier en costume de fantôme.
Willow : Salut !
Buffy: Casper !
Alex : Ah Willow c'est vraiment très joli le Boo écrit dessus !

La réaction d'Alex quand il apprend qu'Angel est venu dans la chambre de Willow...

Buffy doesn't really want to face her, but does.
Willow: Did, uh, Angel...
Buffy: He told me everything.
Willow: I'm sorry we kept stuff from you.
Buffy: It's okay.
Willow: When Angel came to my room he was just really concerned for you, and we didn't wanna say anything in case we were wrong.
Xander: Did you find out what Ford is up to?
Buffy: I will.
Willow and Xander sadly watch her go. After a moment something clicks in Xander's head.
Xander: Angel was in your bedroom?
Willow: Ours is a forbidden love.

Willow : Buffy ! Tu sais... Angel...
Buffy : Il m'a tout dit.
Willow : Quand Angel est venu dans ma chambre, il avait l'air vraiment très inquiet à ton sujet. Il ne voulait pas qu'on t'en parle au cas où on aurait eu tort.
Xander : Tu as découvert ce que Ford mijote ?
Buffy : Je vais le faire.
Elle s'en va.
Xander ( après un silence ) : Angel était vraiment dans ta chambre ?
Willow : Nous deux, c'est Roméo et Juliette.
