After All...

Alex, de plus en plus atteint par la hyène, dit des choses horribles à Willow dans le but de la faire souffrir...

I've decided to drop geometry. So I won't be needing your math help anymore. Which means I won't have to look at your pasty face again.
He and the others laugh. Willow, crushed, turns and leaves.

Alex : Tu as remarqué que mon attitude est différente...
Willow : Oui...
Alex : Je pense que j'ai... je pense que mes sentiments pour toi ont changés.Et puisque on est amis depuis très longtemps, il y a une chose qu'il faut que tu sachesJ'ai...j'ai decider de laisser tomber la géométrie, donc je n'ai plus besoin que tu m'aides en math, en un mot je ne veux plus voir ta face de crapaud géniard !Willow est choquée et s'en va.

Alex essaye de toucher Willow pour qu'elle le fasse sortir en lui disant qu'il a besoin d'elle et qu'il veut qu'elle l'aide mais Willow réagit à temps...

Willow: That's not fair. Buffy saved both of our lives.
Xander: Before she came here our lives didn't need that much saving, did they? Weren't things a lot simpler when it was just you and me?
Willow: Maybe...
Xander: When we were alone together... Willow, I know there's something wrong with me. I think it's gettin' worse. But I can't just stand around waitin' for Buffy to decide it's time to punch me out again. Look, I want you to help me. I want you.
Willow: I am helping you.
Xander: You're doing what you're told.
Willow: Buffy's trying to help you, too. You know that. Or Xander does.
Xander: Yeah... Buffy's so selfless. Always thinking of us. Well, if I'm so dangerous, how come she left you alone with me?
Willow: I told her to.
Xander: Why?
Willow: 'Cause I know you better than she does... and I wanted to be here to see if... you were still you.
Xander: You know I am. Look at me. Look.
Willow: Xander...
He makes a grab for her through the slot in the cage, but she backs off in time.
Willow: Now I know.

Alex : Willow ?
Willow : Comment tu te sens ?
Alex : Je me suis pris une table de plein fouet ! Tu peux m'expliquer ?
Willow : Tu as besoin de te reposer.
Alex : Pourquoi je suis enfermé ?
Willow : Parce que tu es malade, c'est Buffy qui l'a dit.
Alex : Ah ouais, Buffy à toujours la bonne solution. Elle te tabasse, elle t'enferme, c'est vraiment une façon originale de soigner les gens
Willow : Tu es injuste, Buffy nous a protéger plus d'une fois
Alex : Oui, mais n'empêche qu'avant son arrivée on avait pas besoin de protection, tout était plus simple quand on était que toi et moiWillow : Ca se peux.
Alex : Quand on était seul tout les deux, willow je sais que je ne vais pas bien, j'en suis très conscient, mais je refuse de rester enfermé en attendant que buffy fasse de moi son puching-ball, aide moi, je t'en supplie...aide moi
Willow : Je t'aide en ce moment
Alex : En obeïssant à des ordres...
Willow : Buffy fait tout ce qu'elle peux pour toi, tu le sais, alex le sais...
Alex : Oui, par pure générosité, quelle grandeur d'âme, mais si je suis tellement dangereux, comment elle a pu te laisser avec moi ?
Willow : C'est moi qui voulais
Alex : Pourquoi ?
Willow : Parce que je te connais bien et depuis longtemps, et aussi pour savoir si te reconnaitrais si tu étais encore toi
Alex : Je suis le même, regarde moi, regarde...
Willow : Alex...
Elle s'approche et il essai de lui prendre les clés dans sa jupe. Elle se recule
Willow : Maintenant je sais...

Après que ses "amis" l'ait libéré de sa cage, Alex va tenter de s'en prendre à Willow mais heureusement, Buffy & Giles vont la sauver...

Aussitôt rétabli, Alex s'empresse de sauver Willow...

Willow. The pack gets off of Buffy.

Alex : Willow !
Il se jette sur le gardien, mais celui ci le repousse après avoir lacher willow. S'ensuit une bataille avec buffy qui se termine dans la cage des hyènes pour le gardien

Finalement, l'amitié d'Alex & Willow n'est pas touchée par cette histoire même si Alex n'a pas tout dit...

Buffy: Nah!
Willow: Not at all.
Buffy: (to Willow) C'mon. We're gonna be late.
Willow: (to Xander) See you at lunch.
Xander: Cool! Oh, hey, goin' vegetarian! Huh?

Alex : Je me souviens seulement qu'on est partis en excursion et que je suis entré au pavillon des hyènes et ensuite qu'un type menaçait Willow avec un couteau
Willow : C'est toi qui m'a sauvé la vie !
Alex : Eh on abime pas ma petite Willow
Il la serre dans ses bras
Buffy : Je te préfère nettement envouté par le charme de la petite willow !
Alex : Je n'ai rien fait d'autre, je veux dire, à vous je n'ai pas fait de mal ?
Buffy : Non !
Willow : Pas du tout !
Buffy (a Willow) : Dépeche toi faut pas traîner !
Willow (a Alex) : On se voit à la cantine !
Alex : Ok ! Oh je prendrais des légumes
